PALMS 1 STEM Project
The PALMS 1 STEM Project encourages students to explore their changing world. Students identify landscapes as natural, managed or constructed, observe the changing weather and discuss seasons, explore changes in the night sky and experiment with simple materials to create observable change. Finally, they may take on the longer project of creating a time capsule. This project comes with comprehensive notes in the Teacher's Guide (click here to download). Students are provided guidance and support in the Student Booklet (click here to download). We recommend introducing STEM and what STEM skills look like using our thought provoking activities (click here to download).
